Crescendo earplugs were originally developed for military use; in fact, these earplugs are used by NATO forces.
Functions:
Earplugs with filter with specific noise reduction characteristics for users of firearms (pistols, hunting shotguns, clay pigeon shooting). The Crescendo Shooting filter is ANSI IPIL and CE certified for impulse noise (such as firearm noise) up to 166 dB, at which volume it provides 33 dB noise reduction, thus ensuring optimal hearing protection against the loudest impulse noises.
Outside of the peak noise (gunshot), the Crescendo Xtreme 25 hunting earplugs only reduce ambient noise slightly, so you can still hear the sounds and voices around you and tell where they are coming from, with minimal occlusion effect. You will therefore hear ambient noises and be able to locate where sounds are coming from (which makes these earplugs ideal for hunters). The filter is designed to work only during the peak sound level.
To ensure optimal comfort, the filter lets air into the ear to prevent irritation. What is more, the user can still tell where sounds are coming from, which is essential in hunting and combat situations.
These earplugs are also highly practical: their small size means they can be worn under ear defenders or a headset. They come in a transport case, so you can keep them to hand at all times (ideal for day-to-day use.
They are black with black filters and you can clean them with an Audilo brush spray or warm, soapy water. These long-lasting reusable earplugs can be used for several years. Just make sure you look after them!
In the pack, 2 sizes of earplug are provided (Medium and Large), which are suitable for most people.

Use:
Simply place the filters in the earplugs that fit you the best. Then, insert the earplugs into your ear canal as far as they will go, without forcing them. They should not fall out or stick out of the ear. To remove them: pull the tab on the end.
